About the event
Meet before sunset at the Tel Shifon Winery in Kibbutz Ortal.
At sunset, we will tour the vineyards and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the vineyards and the views of the Tel Shifon volcano.
After the sunset tour, we will continue for a meal at the winery and wine tasting. The tasting will be accompanied by explanations from our selected wine bartenders. After the meal, we will turn off the winery lights and go out to the terrace, where a stargazing area will await us, including a commissary, open skies, professional guidance (meteor - stargazing) and large, professional telescopes.
We will learn the stars by their names, explore together the connection between the stars and the world of wine, and hear inspiring stories. We will find the North Star and see the secret of the zodiac signs. With the help of our professional telescopes, we will look closely at the distant celestial bodies and locate clusters, nebulae, and distant planets.
Doors open 6:30 PM
Observation begins at 8:15 PM.
The evening is an intimate evening and is limited to 35 participants.
