Cabernet Franc 915 2022

Production process: The plot was planted in 2012 in our winery vineyard at a very high density (about 400 seedlings per dunam). This is a vineyard from which unique wines are produced in a limited quantity every year. The plot is cultivated during the growing season by the winemaker and the wine team from the trimming stage. After the grapes reached the desired ripeness, they were harvested and arrived within a few minutes at the winery for further sorting, processing and transfer to stainless steel tanks. The grapes underwent a short fermentation during which the process of extracting the color and flavors from the skins was done very gently to maintain the soft and refined nature of the wine. At the end of the fermentation, the wine was transferred into 300 liter French oak barrels (about 10% new) for aging for about 16 months.
Tasting Notes: Cabernet Franc 2022 is characterized by bright aromas and flavors of fresh red fruits, pomegranate berries, spices and high minerality. The body is light but has a tight center, a prominent natural acidity and a long and rich finish.
